Why we exist

Financial inclusion is one of the defining economic challenges of our generation. Across Africa, hundreds of millions of people remain outside the formal financial system — not because they lack economic activity, but because the products available to them were designed for different markets, different devices, and different assumptions about connectivity and identity.

Kaiwish Technology was founded to build the alternative. We create digital financial services and internet infrastructure that start from African operating conditions: mobile-first, agent-distributed, bandwidth-conscious, and multi-currency by default.

How we work

Our approach combines two strengths that are rarely brought together in one organisation.

Local depth

We design against the real constraints of African markets — payment-rail fragmentation, regulatory variation between countries, informal distribution networks, and device diversity. Products are validated with the people who will actually use them.

Asian leverage

We draw on Asia's mature hardware supply chain, component sourcing, and deep engineering talent pool. This lets us build and ship at a speed and cost structure that keeps our products within reach of mass-market consumers rather than only the top of the pyramid.

What we build

• Digital payments and wallets — mobile-money integration, wallet infrastructure, agent and merchant tooling.
• Connectivity and infrastructure — internet access products and last-mile network distribution.
• Devices and mobile applications — consumer and agent-facing apps, plus hardware sourced through Asia.

Compliance and trust

Our applications are distributed through Google Play and meet Google's requirements for privacy disclosure, data safety, and content policy. We publish our privacy practices openly and give users direct control over their data and accounts.
